Terms and Conditions

  1. All classes must be paid for.

  2. Notify us within twenty-four (24) hours if you have made a mistake with your booking and we can work on the refund minus banking and other fees incurred.

  3. Refunds for cancellations may be provided if the Client gives twenty-four (24) or more hours’ notice to Dance Rhythms Australia via text or email. The client may be refunded 50% of the cost of the cancelled lesson(s) and rounded to the nearest dollar.

  4. Refunds will be processed within 14-days of the notice being accepted.

  5. Extra Lessons are only available to Clients after they have completed the three (3) or five (5) Wedding Dance Lessons package, or at the discretion of the instructor.

  6. Persons completing the reservation and/or participating in classes or lessons, acknowledge that any recordings taken during the conduct of business will be used in good faith and where possible deidentified, to promote Dance Rhythms Australia. 

  7. Clients or participants in activities held by Dance Rhythms Australia are expected to exercise a reasonable care for others. This includes and is not limited to:

    • conducting themselves in an ethical, proper, and lawful manner, and

    • reporting any concerns, hazards, and/or injuries to the instructor, and 

    • not causing harm, injury, or damage to others, the environment, or to property, and

    • not causing disruption or distraction in the class / lesson.

  8. Clients or participants who have completed a reservation and are participating in activities held by Dance Rhythms Australia acknowledge and agree that they are:

    • in a suitable condition to undertake normal dance activities, and 

    • aware that dance activities are physically demanding, and

    • aware that participating may pose a risk to their health, and

    • not to participate in such activities if advised not to do so by a doctor, Allied Health, or any relevant medical professional, or 

    • not to participate in such activities if injured or ill or have reasonable grounds to suspect they are injured or ill, and

    • agree that they are undertaking such activities at their own risk.

  9. Clients or participants agree that if they conduct themselves poorly or refuse to cooperate with reasonable instructions from the instructor, they will be asked to correct their behaviour and given a reasonable opportunity to do so. However, if the poor behaviour continues or if they continue to refuse to cooperate with reasonable instructions from the instructor, they will be asked to leave and their enrolment or reservation may be cancelled without a refund.

  10. Clients or participants who share information with Dance Rhythms Australia acknowledge that such information will be retained and used in accordance with the Privacy Law. Any information which may be reasonably deemed as confidential will be retained in confidence as is reasonably expected.

  11. Clients are expected to wear appropriate attire, bring a towel and refreshments to keep hydrated. If unsure, please ask the instructor.

  12. ** Platinum Wedding dance packages is our highest offering where we would provide reasonable assistance and support to couples to achieve their dream wedding dance. This may include, where reasonable and applicable, recommendations and referrals, provision of discounts, follow-up calls, and if required short video calls (up to fifteen minutes) to monitor couples’ training and progress in between lessons.
